Day 1 - Getting to Quito
What a crazy day of flying!
Up at 4am before the rooster woke up. Oh the smell of jet fuel in the morning.
Pensacola to Dallas (isn’t that in the opposite direction?), then coming all the way back to Miami for our non-stop flight to Quito.
As soon as we arrived at the Pensacola airport, the thought occurred to me that we could have driven to Miami in the same amount of time it was taking us to fly. Oh well….next time.
Arrived in Quito at around 9 pm, so straight to our Marriott hotel (nice digs) to prepare for an early morning start.
